Why does Newsletter send confirmation emails to emails that are already subscrib

Did you find a solution for this? I’m having the same problem now. I could tweak the code but maybe has something to do with any custom preference? ??

It happens ’cause the subscription can be “multiple” when ending in different lists. With the lists management refactoring we’re are addressing even this problem.

Anyway be aware that if a subscriber subscribes and the forget to be subscribed and subscribes again, giving an error message is not the best practice.

Well, I finally changed the functionality of it, as my client wanted. I know that it’s a bit strange but they only needed to be registered once, as they are making coupons offers just for the new subscribers, so I had no other choice.
