    Hi there.
We are using this on two websites, both are in Lincolnshire, UK.
For some reason, selected="selected" is in the code on both sites for Lincolnshire.

Why would that be? I don’t see any settings to ‘default’ it to a particular town.

    Can you help?

    Hi,

It doesn’t seem to be related to this plugin since it doesn’t control the appearance of the locations list on the frontend. Could you check if it happens if you disable the plugin?

The plugin is what enables us to add those dropdown counties. If we disable, then yes it will stop it, but it will also stop the counties from being listed. which is the point of it…

Sure. I mean to check some other country which WooCommerce has states for, e.g., the US.

They don’t ship outside the UK.
Why would it add “selected=’selected'” to Lincolnshire…. makes no sense.

Lincolnshire is where they are based, but I know of no default setting for that.

I’m not sure where it comes from. But, for sure, not from this plugin.

You can temporarily deactivate all other plugins and switch to the default theme and check if it’s gone. Then, revert things one by one until you notice the issue is here again. Now you know the culprit.
