Hey

First of all, I would like to thank you for this wonderful Plugin

Why doesn’t it work on all pages and categories?

My website is in English and Arabic, with the same number of pages and categories in both languages

When I link the English pages to the Arabic pages, it works without any problems

Ex. (Works)
– https://emlaklojistik.com.tr/en/projects-map/
– https://emlaklojistik.com.tr/en/news/

But when I link the English categories to the Arabic ones, it doesn’t work and the link redirects to the main page in the other language

Ex. (does not work)
– https://emlaklojistik.com.tr/en/label/city-view/
– https://emlaklojistik.com.tr/en/property-type/offices/

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello,

are those two websites in a multisite install that have different language sets?

Hi

Yes, those two websites in a multisite first site are Arabic and the second is English

I am using Houzez – Real Estate WordPress Theme

My problem is that all the categories for this Houzez Theme can’t be linked to another language

Hi Dennis

It’s WordPress but this Houzez template creates new taxonomies

It appears that your plugin does not recognize new taxonomies so changes are not applied

Is there any solution ?

Yes, but there is nothing that ties tags automatically together. You can do that in the Tags screen: /wp-admin/edit-tags.php? taxonomy=post_tag or similar…

I would prefer that you talk with the maintainer of the theme first. I would have no idea if they use something that is not the standard way to create it. Also, this plugin is Open Source that works in a lot of installations without issues and I’m willing to give support, of course. But your theme seems a payd theme to me, am I right?

By the way, why doesn’t all Slug appear here?

I notice that any slug appears in Rewrites Settings, I find that switching between languages works without problems

Could this be the problem?

This part is for the Multisite Language Switcher read-only for the existing definitions in your install.
