Why dont both Vigilence themes use the image widget?

  • I am currently using the Vigilance theme and in the process of moving from using the .com version to the .org version. Ive noticed the .org version does not have an image widget option. Is there a way I can use an image widget using the .com version like this?:https://darrinhoudek.wordpress.com/
    Or if somebody could explain how I can get rid of the wordpress.com extension on my url there that would be OK.
