Why don't comments stay on? Please help.

    No matter how many times I go through each of my posts and check “allow comments,” I return at random times to find all of my posts are not allowing comments and the box under my Discussions panel is checked for “must be signed on and registered to comment.”

    Why does WP keep disallowing comments on my posts and re-checking that box in my settings? It goes through and unchecks the Allow Comments boxes for all of my posts.

    I have no idea what PHP means so I can’t follow advice on how to enter code to fix it.

    Is there anyone who can tell me why my settings keep getting changed?
