Why has my site has changed?

  • Hi everyone
    I have only ever worked with WordPress Direct but I wanted to put a site together using fantastico and do it all from scratch.
    I have put a site together as a work in progress.

    My problem is that I have edited my site (while playing around to see whats what) and now the site loads up showing an RSS feed logo and search function at the top of the page.

    My site should begin with the rectangular image at the top instead.

    Does anyone know what I have done wrong?

    Also, the edit button is active!! Anyone can press it and they are taken to the dashboard.

  • Can’t guess without seeing the site, which means what’s your site URL?

    Edit – are you sure you’re not logged in when you see the edit link?
