why has par\ tab\par\tab suddenly appeared on my sidebar?

    WP has been working perfectly for me, but I suddenly just got this in my sidebar-

    {rtf1ansideff0{fonttbl{f0fnilfcharset0 Courier New;}} {*generator Msftedit 5.41.15.1507;}viewkind4uc1pardlang2057f0fs20tab

    par tabtab repeated again and again.

    the only thing I adjusted beforehand was the header.jpg, so that can’t have done it surely!!? Any ideas what just happened? Please Help!

  • What did you use to edit your files? It looks like you used something (maybe Dreamweaver? I don’t know – something like that?) to edit something. It’s hard-coded into your template file. Looks liek it could be either your sidebar.php page, or your search form page. Look in your files for this:

    <form method="get" id="searchform" action="https://brighteyecounselling.co.uk/alcohol-drugs/">

    The offending text is wrapped all around that. It’s right after your “navigation” div, and before your <div class="menu"> div.

    Ok, sorted it myself. Panic Over. (phew!)

    For anyone who has similar troubles, it came about because my RSS feed wasn’t working, so I added an absolute link to it in my sidebar, rather than letting WP point to it. Removed that and everythings fine again.
