• Makes it kind of difficult to update core when plugins aren’t compatible with the version.

“Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.”

“This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”

  • Yes, I am having this problem as well. I am getting error messages when editing pages now. Hoping to hear you are still actively supporting this product.

The last update from the developer was in June (see below). What’s disappointing is that we use so many plugins and the one from Automattic is the only one that was abandoned. One reason for picking a plugin from Automattic is you assume it will be well supported. If the author is unable to make the changes, why has nobody else from Automattic stepped in? Best wishes on his health but we expect more from WordPress.

“Hi, sorry for the late reply. Was away for quite some time because of health issues. Lots of catching up to do but planning a bugfix release as soon as possible, perhaps in 2-3 weeks.”
