    Hi,

I am using Duplicator Free version to build package for my website. The total data are about 550MB. The built process will always fail with error message “Host Build Interrupt” for the first time, then when I try again, sometimes the process will succeed, sometimes will fail again.

After checking the packing log, I see the error is caused by a timeout(524) error generated by Cloudflare, as Cloudflare has a maximum execution time of 100s.

What makes thing strange is that why UpdraftPlus can process much larger data, such as 1.7GB without any problems, with Duplicator will have timeout error even with 500MB data? Both UpdraftPlus and Duplicator are running under the same server and Cloudflare is enabled.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @chcw,

The free version currently only works as a single-threaded request, so the size of the package limit really depends on the resources of the server. If you are on a budget host then the free version currently has more difficulty with trying to process the larger packages. Typically when users run into this issue we simply recommend doing a two-part install.

    Hope this helps~
