    Hi,

In my post https://www.datanumen.com/guides/scanpst-exe/, I choose “scanpst.exe” as the keyphrase, so “scanpst” is a variant of the keyphrase.

I then check all the images alt text and found “scanpst” appears for 20 instances, “scanpst.exe” appears 5 instances.

But Yoast SEO shows a warning “Image Keyphrase: Out of 29 images on this page, only 6 have alt attributes that reflect the topic of your text.”

    Why?

    Hi,

    I make some more tests.

    1. It seems Yoast SEO will not take “scanpst” as a variant of keyphrase “scanpst.exe”.
    2. After the instances of “scanpst.exe” reaches 8, the warning disappears.

    Hi @chcw

Kindly know that, if you believe the correct synonym or related keyphrase for the term “scanpst.exe” is “scanpst”, then you can keep the content as it is.
