Why is it loading sooooo sloooow?

  • The search results take forever to load. Is it a setting or maybe it doesn’t like another plugin?
    If I try to disable it, the regular search doesn’t work at all, it shows no results at all. Any idea why?

    No client is going to wait this long to see if the product is there or not….

    Wordpress 5.0.3, php 7.1, ajax search lite 4.7.22, woocommerce 3.5.4

    Hi,

    Well, you have 43 active plugins installed, which is a lot. The plugin performance mostly depends on your server performance, but in this case I think the high number of plugins is also affecting the response time greatly. It is also possible that it’s something else entirely of course.

    To get the best possible performance, you can try:
    – Turning on the custom ajax handler, it bypasses some plugin loading times: https://i.imgur.com/kLvZQP7.png
    – Turning off some of the fields to search, and only enabling the titles: https://i.imgur.com/ZkPwPod.png
    Then testing again, and then enabling some of the fields one by one, to see if it makes any difference.
