Why is line break removed after each Save?

    The line break <br> that I have added to a WP page using Write Page is always removed after each Save. I have re-edit the page to tweak the line breaks each time I update the page. Is there anything that I have missed in a simple editor like Write Page? Thanks.

  • Hitting Enter it will add a br tag automatically (in display), so no need to add anything.
    However, WP will not let you to add zillion br tags one after the other – only one.

    I have tried many times using the Enter key for breaking the lines up. It just didn’t work. i.e. They run together no matter what I do with the Enter key.

    Lorelle at other site showed me the solution, which is to turn the Rich Text Editor off in the Profile panel so that I can control the line breaks.
