Why is Media Library taking forever to load

  • I have noticed that since the update of WordPress, the Media Library page takes forever to load. There is nothing different from before the update until after. Everything else loads quickly. None of my media files are large, so I’d like any suggestions as to why this is happening.

    I can’t be really sure on why this is happening to you but I would you to suggest you try and switch themes and disabling the plugins just to check and see if it’s happening in other themes as well. There are themes and plugins which have been badly coded or maybe conflicting with your media library.
