why is my entire post is a link ?

When you edit the post you can’t find the problem?

Within the HTML for the post, have you got an unclosed <a> tag somewhere?

i put an old post instead
it USED to work great
NOW the entire thing is linked
as you can see at: https://nationville.com/

how do i locate an open in my index.php page ?

You have this:

<a href="https://nationville.com/?p=91" rel="bookmark">

just before the table on that page which you just posted the link to. If you either delete that or close it, hopefully the whole page link will go away.

It’s the HTML for your most recent post. Go into “Manage” in the admin section of Workpress and select your most recent post. Go into the HTML editor and remove that line or close the tag with “”.

Your problem is nothing to do with PHP, it is within the single post. When you wrote the post, you would have written the line of code I posted above. You need to find that within the single post (dated November 03) and delete it. The link will then cease.
Any problems, please post back and I will try again to clarify.
