Why is my max already reached

  • Why is my max already reached ???

    Have have only compressed about 60 images ?

    And what does it mean when i compress a picture and it then says.. “Compressed 23 out of 23 sizes”

    It means you have 23 different thumbnail sizes configured in WordPress. Each individual size is compressed separately. With 23 different image sizes you’ll effectively be able to compress 500/23 = approximately 21 original images.

    In the plugin settings (Settings > Media) you can uncheck individual image sizes if you do not wish them to be compressed. See screenshots here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/tiny-compress-images/screenshots/

    hello thaks for the reply..

    is it possible to do something so that i dont have so menny copy′s of one original ? I dont use 23 of each ??

    Hi,

    It is difficult for us to say where the extra sizes are coming from. It could be due to another plugin.

    However, it is possible not to have them compressed. For this, you can uncheck individual image sizes in the plugin settings (Settings > Media) if you do not wish them to be compressed. See screenshots here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/tiny-compress-images/screenshots/.
