Why is my metadata removed after I upload a photo?

  • Hey guys! I just noticed that when I upload photos to my website that the metadata disappears. I don’t have many words on my site so as far as SEO goes metadata is super important for me.
    Can anyone tell me why it is being removed?

    The theme that I am using is “Photo Me” by Themeforest.

    If you download a photo from my latest post you can see that there is no metadata connected to it.
