Why is my search by zip code not working?

Hi,

Those Zip codes are not unique. They are common in other countries too. In this case, the API is looking for listings in France.

Go to GeoDirectory > Settings > Search
click the Show Advanced button, more settings will appear:

In this field: Search near additional

Add: United States

That should work, that said, the location manager would probably be useful for your directory.

By the way, I noticed that in the map, the categories are all checked when the page loads. Is there a way to uncheck all options by default? I couldn’t find it in the settings.

Tick/Untick Categories on Map?–?(directory map specific)?Enter a comma-separated list of category ids (2,3) to tick by default these categories only, or a negative list (-2,-3) to untick those categories by default on the map. Leave blank to tick all categories by default.

p.s. unchecking all categories will still show all categories on the map. We don’t provide an option to show the map without markers.

I was able to find a workaround.
I created a new category that I don’t show on the map then I set that as the default ticked category.

Now all pins are showing on page load. But all categories are unchecked.
