• I manage to create this page. After so much trying I use classic editor to type a line, then saved it, and then open it with the block editor to edit it… yes, I had to start it with the classic and then go to the block editor in order to get to the block editor..

Anyway… after I got to the block editor I figured out how to add the side menu, but it isn’t looking like the very same side menu like the rest of the pages.. in this link is an example of how it should look: the link field, use it next time

The menu is missing the gray background and white letters on the main menu items. How can I get it back and make it work properly on all future pages?

And yes… I want to use the block editor to work with.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • The “as it should” page has the id menu-products_menu on the unordered list (product list), whereas the “different one” has the id menu-products_menu-1.

Changing the ID of the “different one” to menu-products_menu brings the desired styling, as seen in the screenshot below.

You’re using a custom-made theme, so I’m unable to tell you how this “side menu” is built and where to go to change the ID of the product list.

    Good luck!

@tu586 Stop posting in Devloping with WordPress. Again, it is the wrong place to post and I have moved your post to the correct forum. Again.
