why is my site indexed as mydomain.com/home/ ??

Hi All

my site comes up in google (when i search for the KW the site is optimised for) as mydomain.com/home/ , not mydomain.com/ for some reason. Can someone explain why?

under Reading settings i have ,Your latest posts, ticked – i want my post to be the ‘front page’. I only have one post and its permalink is:
https://mydomain.com/home/. I have that post set to sticky.

What esle do i need to do so when my site comes up in google it comes up as mydomain.com/ , NOT mydomain.com/home/
