The PDF invoice shows Product, Quantity and Price as the three items across the columns. The Price is the subtotal, not the individual product cost. Customers want to see Product, Quantity, Cost and Price (better heading would be Subtotal for Price). Why isn’t the cost per item shown as standard on PDF invoice? Thanks.

    Hi, @allenfreeman:

Our free main plugin includes a static PDF template, called “Simple”, that displays the columns you have mentioned. If you have some PHP skills, you can customize it, creating a custom PDF template. See: Creating a custom PDF template.

However, if you want to achieve the same, but using a user-friendly drag and drop interface, you can use the customizer in combination with the?“Simple?Premium” (which is a dynamical template), included in the?Premium Templates?extension, to achieve it.

With the customizer you will have the ability to add new item columns and total’s rows, e.g. displaying product price per unit, thumbnail, VAT amount, its percentage in separated rows, etc.:

Sample invoice with VAT itemized using the customizer included in Premium Templates

Please note that if you have further question regarding Premium Templates, you have to contact us at?[email protected], since www.ads-software.com does not allow providing support or answer pre-sale questions for paid plugins in these forums.
