Why is the code displaying?

    Hi!

    I’m very new to this website building game, stumbling my way around WordPress by trial and error.

    I have installed the Flatsome theme and have begun customising the pages I want for my site.

    From the WP Dashboard if I go to: Elements – Pages – – About

    I get a page of code which contains this line “Go to SitePad Editor to add your own text and edit me.”

    Why is the code displaying, rather than the web page? and is SitePad something I should be using?

    Howdy!

    From a quick search it looks/sounds like SitePad is something your hosting company has integrated. I’ve never used that so I’m not familiar enough with how it works.

    SitePad aside, do you know why I’m seeing code rather than a web page??
