A few days ago, an AD for Happy Elementor addon appeared on my WP Admin. There is no way to disable it without using a plugin to disable ALL notices.

Without disabling every Plug-in, where is this coming from? Why is it there and why can I not dismiss it?

  • Hello @taven1gmailcom

You may be meant the top banner with a ‘thank you’ message from the Happy Addons team. You can simply close the message and it shouldn’t show again if you just close it once. Reference screenshot: https://prnt.sc/oujvfb

The banner message says “Reach beyond your imagination in creating web pages. Try Happy Addons for Elementor to shape your dream.” There is a button that says “Install now for free”

I don’t have the plug-in installed and I never have. The banner just appeared one day. The banner is not a “thank you” message as it clearly wants me to download and activate the Happy Elementor add-on. There is not a way to dismiss it.

    Hello @taven1gmailcom

I’m really sorry to hear it bothered you, but it was coming from one of our other plugins, WooCommerce conversion Tracking. The dismiss button was missing somehow and later, we have already added the dismiss button.

Here’s the process you can follow:

    • Deactivate, delete the WooCommerce Conversion Tracking plugin.
    • Now, download and install the WooCommerce Conversion Tracking again.

It was a hotfix and have not released with a new version, so, need to download and install the plugin again.

I hope this will solve your problem and I’m eagerly waiting for your consideration of the review you shared. My apologies for the inconvenience you have experienced. This will never happen again.

    Thanks

Thank you for responding quickly. This did solve the issue and the banner is now removed. As promised, I also updated the review. I was going to remove it, but I don’t see a way to do that.

    Thanks again.

    Thank you so much, @taven1gmailcom

    Really appreciate ??
