Why is WordPress adding span tags?

  • WordPress is randomly adding span style tags that change the font size. I am not importing text — it’s just adding it.

  • WordPress does not randomly add anything to your content. Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Thirteen theme with all other plugins deactivated? Are you pasting text in from elsewhere?
