Why is WP not seeing images in the upload folder?

  • I’m working on rebuilding a site that was transferred from one server to another under a new domain. I worked through the Moving WordPress instructions in the codex which were very helpful. Most of the site is working the way it should.

    One huge problem though is, even though all of the image folders are on the new server under ‘..upload/[date]/..’ , most of the images are not rendering. The new WordPress dashboard is only seeing about 250 of the 1200+ images that are in the ‘..upload/..’ folder.

    Any suggestions for how to fix this?
