• No offence but I will never use it… It’s just awful.

The Simple editor is lightweight and exactly what I want and now I get bloatware installed.

Wordpress was always a CMS that let’s “you” choose what to install and now they go all crazy and start deciding what you should use.

    I am really disappointed

First, thanks for taking time to leave a review as all feedback is important. Could I dig a little more into this Simple editor, is it a plugin? Would love to know more about what your ideal editing experiencing is and how Gutenberg could learn from that.

    Hey Tammie,

I like the simple editor from WordPress itself for the blog.
It’s clean and simple and I don’t have to teach my customers how to use it.
For the pages I use Elementor Pro which is really advanced and easy in use.

It’s not that I think that the Gutenberg plugin is bad, it’s just not my choice.
I would prefer it as a plugin (pre-installed) but not as a core function.

For me the Gutenberg plugin is another load that is taking up unnecessary space.

    Thanks for your reply.
