Why my pictures still showing the name as DCIMxxx ?

  • I renamed my pictures with Lightroom (and also with iMage Tools) with the next format:

    my_pictures_like_this

    but after install the File Media Titles, when I uploaded the pictures still showing the name DCIMGOPROxxxx

    I tried renamed with other pictures and work well, but I have around 600 pictures that I was taken in the last months and this pictures still showing like I described before.

    Can somebody give me a hand with that?

    I checked your site and viewed the source code. “DCIMGOPRO” didn’t seem to be found in there. I couldn’t really find where the issue actually resides at. Do you have a screenshot to share that could help me to figure it out? You’d use https://cloudup.com/ service to upload your screenshot file; and share its link in your comment reply.

    There you can see two pictures, and both I edited and renamed with Lightroom and iMage Tools as well, and both was taken with the same Gopro Camera, I can understand with the File Media Titles work with one and not with the other, also, both pics have the same metadata.

    Thank you for adding some more extra details. Media metadata is really out of the scope of the theme’s script. I can assure you that Cali doesn’t modify the media meta data in the WordPress core system. To verify it yourself, you can temporarily switch to one of the default WordPress themes like Twenty Seventeen; and re-run your test.

    As it is out of the scope of Cali theme support, I’d highly recommend you to re-post the issue to this support channel.
