• Past posts can be edited with the classic editor, which means it’s code is still in there — why not give users the choice for new posts?

We won’t be rebuilding our editor plugins and hence are now forced to install the Classic Editor plugin.

    Hi,

We are giving the ma choice, by providing the Classic Editor plugin, the reason we won’t make a setting page or similar for it is basically our philosophy that we shouldn’t overburden users with settings to pick from, as that becomes frustrating. Plugins provide the bridge needed in such scenarios which allow them to make that conscious decision if they need to.
