We can place Analytics code, Adsense code manually into the “header.php” of any wordpress template.

Then it’ll load on each and every page.

Then why should we use Site Kit plugin to fulfill that minimalistic requirement?

Hello @onlanka and thank you for getting in touch. That is a great question that you ask.

You can indeed manually place your Google services code into the header.php file of your site if you wish to do so. If you didn’t wish to do this then Site Kit can manage the code placement for you for a number of Google services such as Analytics, Tag Manager and AdSense.

You can also still choose to install and use the Site Kit plugin if you have manually placed your code. Site Kit will see that code has already been placed and not place duplicate code on your site. This way you can connect your services and view your data and statistics for Analytics and AdSense in a single Dashboard view.

With Site Kit you can also make use of features such as Dashboard Sharing which allows users with the Administrator user role to share a restricted view of the Site Kit dashboard with other user roles, including non-administrators.

We have also recently launched key metrics for Site Kit which is the first section of the Site Kit dashboard that you can tailor to show the top metrics most relevant to your site’s goals.

I hope this has helped to answer your question and provided you with more insights into Site Kit. If you have any further questions then I would be happy to answer those for you.
