• hi there:

I have some problem about my website.

I use different block on the home page. But why the block circled in red is always affected by another block? cannot be constant?

I use query loop to build up every block.

    Thanks a lot.

Hi @astcws – I’d definitely like to help out with this.

I use different block on the home page. But why the block circled in red is always affected by another block? cannot be constant?

I don’t entirely understand what you mean – can you explain a little more what you mean by it being ‘affected by another block’.

Which ‘other’ block are you changing, and what is the impact on the block you circled?

Thank very much for your help.

    I’ll explain in detail.

First, my website structure is as below.

The note in the picture below was incorrect. I’d like to clarify that Block B changes when Block A navigates to 1, 2, or 3.

    Thanks again.

Hey @astcws thanks for the extra information – that’s very helpful.

May I ask – how do you have Block A and Block B set up? It looks as thought they are both Query loop blocks – is that right?

My guess is that when you click to the ‘next’ page that it is showing the next ‘page’ of posts for both Query Loops – but if you can confirm, that would be helpful

@jordesign really thank you for your help.

This pic below is my setting of these 2 blocks.

The pic below is Block A setting. Block A comes with a pagination setting , but Block didn’t.

This one is Block B setting.

The screenshots are helpful but I am not sure I understand the underlying issue, @astcws. Could you please explain:

    • What is the problem with the way the blocks work at the moment?
    • What would be desired situation?

    Thank you!

Thank you for your response, and I apologize for the delayed feedback.

As mentioned earlier, I am currently facing an issue where the content of ‘Block B’ changes whenever I navigate between pages in ‘Block A.’

What I desire is for the content of ‘Block B’ to remain unchanged when I switch pages in ‘Block A.

Hi @astcws – I’ve been trying to take a little bit of a closer look at this one.

I’ve been able to find a similar issue when there are multiple Query Loops within the page like that. Where going to the next ‘page’ for either loop actually progresses to the next posts for both.

It appears this is a bug from the actual Query Loop block itself. I’ve opened a bug report to hopefully get it looked at.

    Okay, thanks a lot.

So, I’ll just leave this problem until I find a better solution.

You can also feel free to keep an eye on that Github issue to check the progress of a fix. I’m marking this as resolved since there’s not much more to do here. If you need help with anything else, don’t hesitate to start a new thread.

Hey @astcws – following up on this once again. It turns out this is a known issue that occurs when a Query Loop is duplicated. Is it possible that you duplicated the block (or pattern) from one, and used it in the other?

    @jordesign

Yes, just now I need to create an web again.

So, I come back follow this topc . Now I create a total new qurey and the problem was solved.

    Really tanks a lot!
