Why the url is translated?

Hello! We use polylang. And so far we have no problem, until we install wp-events so to show our seminars in our website. The problem is that polylang translate the url. I mean the part “event” it shows shows γεγον??

The link should be

my-domain/event/event-title

no

my-domain/γεγονο?/event-title

which doesnt work and it doesnt display anything

Any idea?
