Why the warnings when updating plugins?

    For CityofInsight.com we are using WordPress 4.0.1 running Twenty Ten theme.

    When updating plugins (Add to Footer, Akismet, All In One SEO Pack, Contact Form 7, DBC Backup, Exclude Pages from Navigation, Feed Styler, Header and Footer, Hello Dolly, Share Buttons by AddToAny, W3 Total Cache, WordPress Database Backup, WP-DBManager, Wp-Insert) I get the following warnings:

    I have tried deleting and reinstalling the plugins, but the problem persists.

    Could anyone please suggest a solution light on the jargon?
