Why this strange chunking?

    Hello, I appreciate that you’ve made a plugin as a freemium for translation of WordPress sites. But I find the way it chunks text very strange and uncomfortable to work with. Why do I have to translate random segments of sentences or paragraphs? Why not the whole block in some way? This feels so strange and complicated…

    You can translate it as a whole by merging it into a single block of text using the arrow tool: https://translatepress.com/docs/translation-editor#translation-blocks. Please understand, this is split into smaller pieces when you have formatted words or links inside the paragraphs. We don’t select just the text, we need to have the HTML as well or it won’t work otherwise to keep/translate those formatted characters or links.
