Why traffic dropped and how to limit the GDPR to show only for EU countries

I need help with two questions
- After adding the plugin (free) our traffic dropped significantly in Google analytics, we have traffic from Google ads, bing ads, facebook ads, organic, traffic from all channels dropped from an avg 1500+/day to 100. Why is this happening, am I doing something wrong here?
- Also since the GDPR is only for EU countries how can I show the GDPR consent only to users from EU region? I dont want to show the GDPR consent for the rest of the countries.

Hello, Thank you for your question! Please note that a drop in traffic can be expected when installing any CMP. You can review this support article for some recommendations of how to mitigate this.
For example, if you want the consent banner to appear only on EU countries please go to your regional settings and turn if off for all regions but the EU:
