• I purchased “Prestige,” (“Ultimate WordPress Theme,”)for $35, thinking it would make my life easier… But I have been sitting here for literally hours, trying to upload it / install it on to my wordpress… and nothing.

(When I upload it FTP, into themes, the icon is a blank page with a grey screw in the bottom right corner. but it does not show up on wordpress.)

(When I upload via wordpress, it uploads for 1/2 hour, getting to 99% when it goes to wordpress failure notice.)

So far, I have tried to upload the file (via FTP and wordpress) as is… (13 KB) I thought, maybe it was too big, so I extracted just the “Prestige,” without the “Prestigue Light,” (it comes with two) and tried it zipped and unzipped, via FTP and wordpress. Nothing.

I tried contacting them and have had no response, so I’m asking here.

I’m about ready to throw my computer, I’m so frustrated ??

I can provide any details/links, if you can pls help ??

have you asked on the themeforest forum?

I am having a similar problem except this is the note that I am getting under the dashboard >themes area:

I have installed it but it was .rar file. I tried installing a .zip file after.

NatalieArielle, you can email me @ [email protected], im sure i can help you if you would like me to install it for you?

Make sure you are uploading the root folder with all the files in side. If you are gettin broken theme errors, it is most probably because there are multiple folders inside the zip (sometimes authors add help files, PSD’s, etc).

You only have to upload the theme itself; not the MASSIVE psds wpexplorer refers to.

So the upload failed before the IMPORTANT files got uploaded

Post screenshot of file structure in that zip, so we can guide you which folder to upload exactly.

No prob. with that theme yet, its how you upload thats wrong.

Look for readme or other guides in that zip file to get started.

    Here’s what worked for me.
The theme I bought was zipped containing three folders fonts, PSA and concord (the theme name). I located that zipped folder (it was named 3342)in my downloads folder and extracted it (right click on the zipped folder and choose then click extract or unzip– keep looking the unzipping feature is there).
after unzipping the three I zipped just the concord (the theme) folder because that’s how wordpress needs to upload a file.

Next I went to wordpress, appearance, themes and upload theme, browsed for that zipped concord folder and voila it worked.
