Why would anyone use this? It sucks & not renewing can break your site.

This builder is supposed to make things easier? Maybe before guttenberg but even then there were better builders. It’s just so unintuitive and confusing at times. Who the hell looked at this and thought “yup this makes sense”.

At this point using the standard editor is better, easier and more of a visual editor that this thing.

If you do go down this road be careful using the pro version. You’ll be forced to keep renewing your license forever. Updates to standard Elementor can break something in Elementor Pro thus breaking your entire site. It happened to me. My free version was updating while Elementor pro was an older version. Then one day, fatal error message when loading the site. I had to find everything in my site built with Elementor pro and redo it with the free version.
