    Hi,

    When using the widget in the sidebar and the shortcake ‘Monthly View’ – I would like to remove the two fields in the top showing Category and the search field? I would like it only to show the calendar.

    Is that possible??

    Yes, you can change them in the shortcode and single events sidebar settings.

    Hi again,

    Unfortunately this is not the customization possibility I’m looking for.

    If I understand correctly and as I can see when I change something related to the single event sidebar, I change the page where you have your Single Event – and NOT the calendar I have in the sidebar on the frontpage.

    When using the calendar in the sidebar on the frontpage I go into ‘Appearance’, ‘Widgets’ and drag the one called ‘Calendar’ to my Home Sidebar 1. The only thing I can do here is to name a title and pick a short code (either ‘Monthly View’, ‘Upcoming events (List)’ and ‘Upcoming events (Grid)’). I have chosen the monthly view – and it also shows a calendar in the sidebar on the frontpage BUT also a search field and a categorypicker – and I would like to remove these last two.

    Is that possible?

    Hi Christina,

    Please go to M.E. Calendar > Shortcodes and open the shortcode, you can edit Search Form and disable category field and etc.

    Hi again,

    I have send an email and attached screenshots. I can’t find the one you mention: ‘Search Form’. Neither can I find where you can disable category field…

    You can disable category by selecting it in the dropdown menu.
