I’ve added a sidebar widget and that caused the content of my blog posts to be shifted downwards, resulting in a large white space where the post used to start. The widget is in the right place but the post content is moved down. Is there a code I can add to restore the post content back to the top?

  • Hi there! ??

Your sidebar widget more than likely had a width greater than that of your other widgets and greater than what was allowed for your sidebar.

If you resize that widget and its contents to be the same size as your other widgets (using CSS to style the sizing of the widget and its contents, or depending on plugin, the plugin might have its own CSS files/size specs), then the problem should resolve.

Thank you for the reply and I’ve tried reducing the width to 20 pixels, but the problem persists. There is no plugin involved, I simply used the default text widget and pasted some javascript code in it from the widgetbox.com website. Any other suggestions ?

Can you link me to the site so I can see the code?

Does a blank text widget box create the same problem or just when you add in the Javascript?

Glad to see you resolved the issue! Cheers! ??
