Widget area been removed from free version?

    Hello,

    As the title, does the widget area still exist in the free version as it’s not showing on my version here!

    Hi @ashbyvagg,

    The widget areas weren’t removed. What WordPress version are you using?
    Probably it’s a plugin conflict, try to disable all the other plugins temporarily and check Appearance -> Widgets.

    Let me know the result.

    Hello @takanakui,

    Thanks for your response, I’m presently on WP version 5.8.1 and have been through disactivating one at a time, but has made no difference, nothing shows up in the Appearance – Widgets.

    Also found that using the hide elements find elements is not working showing the sections hidden, but they are not…

    Just tested again and it’s showing fine here.

    It could be something with your theme, try to switch to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty and see what happens.

    Just changed to TwentyTwenty One and the only thing showing there was Footer and Inactive widgets
