When I open the widget area using Safari, it only works proper on the start-page.

If I change one or more times to other sites and open the widget area there, the widgets are not shown next to each other, but one below the other…

It works proper on Firefox and Chrome, as far as I can see.

Can I do something to fix this on Safari?

  • Hi Zinza, could you please let me know what version of Safari you’re using and what Mac OS?

I opened your widget area on several pages in Safari 7.0.6 on Mac 10.9.4 and they displayed correctly on every page.

    Hi Kathryn,

I also use Safari 7.0.6 on Mac 10.9.4. And it is still not working on Safari… Strange!

It may be something specific to your browser.

Could you try Safari on a different computer?

Could you try turning off any Safari extensions or add-ons?

    Now I found it:
In Safari the font is quiet big, so I always make it smaller (with Apple-button and “-“). After I do so, the widget-area is always shown below each other, when I change to different sites… In other browsers this is no problem. I can change the size as I want and the widget area is always working.
Turning off the extensions didn’t make any difference.

Glad you found the culprit – sounds like something that wouldn’t affect many people since they aren’t likely to be shrinking the text in their browser the way you are.

For what it’s worth, the text size in Safari looks exactly the same size to me as it does in Firefox and Chrome, so I’m not sure why it looks bigger on your end. You might want to double-check that you don’t have any non-default browser preferences in your Safari that could be increasing the font size, such as a custom stylesheet under Preferences > Advanced.

Ok, as I could figure out: Firefox and Chrome open on my computer the site in a smaller size than in original. Don’t know why.
    I don’t use any non-default-browser-preferences in Safari.

You are right: This will affect only a very few people. I’m glad, this is not a bug.
    Thanks for your help! ??
