Widget areas not showing up after upgrading to wordpress latest version

    I recently upgraded my wordpress site to 3.5 version.
    And now my widgets are gone off. I can see the widget area on front end per in WordPress dashboard no Widget area is totally gone.

    I am using iThemes for my site.

    Anyone who has the same issue ?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Just ran into this same problem, deactivating all plugins worked.
