Widget Blocks Are Screwed Up

  • What is wrong with my new Widgets Block Editor? The search widget displays the search label (title) as grey text on a black background. It looks absolutely terrible.

    I cannot label blocks with titles that appear bolded and slightly larger than the rest of the contents of the block, as I could before.

    If I put some text in a paragraph block, the line spacing appears too close together and there is a large gap of empty space after the last line and before the edge of the element window.

    Is this a theme issue? Or does the Widgets Block Editor need serious work?

    The widgets are now rendered by the theme and should appear as they would on the site.

    What is the name of the theme you’re using?

    Ok, since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://community.mythemeshop.com/

    Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    Yes, this would have to be addressed at the theme level.

    I got a response from the theme developer that they’re working on a fix. Thanks. I do hope that we’ll still be able to add LABELS to widget blocks like we could in the old editor.
