Widget bug when user clicks a anchor link (#) on the same page

I’ve had this same issue for about five months now, and I started a support topic for it (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/clicking-anchor-tag-menu-item-affects-display-of-events-list-widget/). The support person wasn’t able to help, and then hasn’t responded in four months.

I have since updated Events Calendar to version 5.6.0, and the problem persists.

I am using the TwentyTwenty theme.

Disabling all other plugins did not resolve the issue for me.

I am also having this problem, and I have confirmed that is not caused by a plugin or theme conflict (still happening with all other plugins deactivated and the twenty-seventeen theme in place).

It’s on a local development site, so I can’t give a link.

@ptstockley Upon visiting your site and clicking on a couple anchor links, it appears as tho your issue is resolved.
