Widget events calendar “see all events” text

    Hello,
    I am using Events calendar and the upcoming events show in the right column using the Events calendar Widget.
    I can see there are options to change the title, the number of events that are shown….
    In addition, the author would like to change the text “voir tous les événements” = ‘see all events’ into “voir l’agenda” = ‘go to the agenda’
    I can’t find out how to do that…. Is that possible?

    Hi @benmez,

    This text string can be changed by translating/editing the .pot file, included with the plugin, or through an additional plugin like Loco Translate.

    Hello Erica,
    We have tried to change the “voir tous les évènements” = “View all events” with Loco translate. However we are facing the % sign, meaning the English shows as “View all %s” and we usually can’t remove % in a .po file…
    Could you please advise on how to manage the % sign here?

    Hi @benmez,

    Sure! Any changes made to the-events-calendar-fr_FR.mo should only apply to the French translation when viewed, and English should remain separate for those viewing in English.

    You can remove the %s from your translation, and replace fully with “voir l’agenda”.
