    Hi flatrock,

It is possible to change up the widget’s display. However, as outlined in our forum guidelines, we aren’t able to help with these kinds of customizations. But we do have some handy resources that might be helpful for you:

? Themer’s Guide – provides an overview of how to customize the plugin’s frontend appearance.
? Tutorials – useful tips and tricks for changing how the plugin looks and behaves.
? Technical Docs – provides an overview of the classes and functions in each plugin

Good luck, and thanks for using The Events Calendar!

    Thank you leahkoerper!

I’m hoping to convince them to go to Pro version, you would have a bit more support for dollars, yes?

I just want to be sure they are happy with the other Pro widget options. Does Pro have more “non programmer” tools to customize the look of the widgets? And, are the styles driven by the Calendar plug-in’s css or can/does the WordPress css over rule in some cases?

    Howdy flatrock,

Our PRO plugin does have numerous more widget options, but sadly nothing quite along the lines of what you are talking. They are more related to what data the widget displays. This is a feature suggestion that we have received though, please vote on it here if you are interested: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/4495670-replace-custom-css-with-a-styling-ui

While we would love for you to purchase the PRO plugin and fund future development like that feature suggestion, we understand that not everyone has the budget to do so. ?? If that describes you perhaps your money would be better spent in hiring a CSS developer to make those minor tweaks? We know of quite a few who are familiar with the plugin, and some who even cater towards small jobs like this. Please email us and request it if you are interested. Thanks!

    – Brook
