Widget insert a large images instead of thumbnails

    The image is cropped and to show the displayed image size you have to see the size at the parent span element and not at the img element.
    The span element will show in the right Computed tap from the browser tools 280px x 168px.

    The plugin gives a large image size in the widget. Therefore, the Gtmetrix.com shows this recommendation: https://yadi.sk/i/_zCctpV-bAku1A

    If your browser had load a bigger size you currently need, the bigger size is taken by your browser.
    You can clear your browser cache to debug and test which image size is taken for each case you visit your website at a first time.

    Anyway, the output rendered HTML is a WordPress method to get that smallest image as possible.
