Widget List Title Change

    I have read through the documentation, made suggested changes in child theme, but must be missing something. Cannot get the widget events list title changed. Would like View More to be See Calendar. The site is not public, so can’t share a link. Using Astra and Elementor Pro. Screenshot available here.

  • This can be done, but not by editing the theme. You’ll need to edit a template file within our plugin.

    First, check this out: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/customizing-template-files-2/

    This tells you how to create template files to edit rather than editing our files directly. It’s basically the same principal behind child themes. It allows you to edit our files without losing those edits when the plugin updates.

    Then, once you’re comfortable with that concept and you’re ready to start editing files, the file you’re interested in I believe is wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/v2/widgets/widget-events-list/view-more.php

    Customizations like this are beyond our scope of support but hopefully these resources will get you pointed in the right direction. If you need to hire someone to make these changes, I recommend checking out codeable.io
