• Hi there,

I like Widget Logic and am currently using it on my site.

My Wordfence security plugin is flagging Widget Logic as an abandoned plug-in. ??

And WordPress flagged it with a notice: “This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”

Is this plugin still supported? If so, are there updates available?

    Thanks!

  • I also use this plugin and would be so sad if it went away. Can we get any updates about this?

Do we know if it is compatible with PHP 8?

Well, I am using PHP 8 on my WP site but I can’t say in any official capacity.

I think it might be working OK but it would be nice to be brought up to date.

I don’t know enought about teh WP mechanics to offer to take over sadly.

The https://wpchef.org website doesn’t seem to be maintained.

Just tried their contact form, and it doesn’t work.

This product, Widget Logic, is not listed on their site.

OK. I think for me things are OK. I see there are limitations with these new widgets for theme developers ad that the theme developer can switch them off. I thunk they are off on my site anyway which means all my widgets are still classic so the plugin still functions.

Pity no one can take it over. The code file is not very long and to say that it is compatible with x.x is a tweak to the header. But as for 5.8 that is something else.

@ajtruckle thank you, your comments still help
