widget map ~ unable to change size, style

As you can see here, the widget map is always 300px and the “grey style”. I’ve played with the map type, but that never seems to change the widget map (I haven’t worked with the shortcodes yet, I’m trying to get the front page looking less goofy.)
Likewise, the width is always 300 px; to look good with this theme I need it at 190 px.
Checked the docs; using 1.0.4. Thanks for an amazing plug-in!
