• Hi, I want my widget to appear on any individual post marked for a single category, but any selection combination I use with your plugin makes my widget disappear.

    URL: Neuromechanical.com
    Category: Newsletter
Widget: E-NEWSLETTER ARCHIVE in Sidebar on left side of page

Plugin settings attempted (in many combinations):
    SHOW ON SELECTED
    Checkmark: ALL POSTS
    Checkmark: CATEGORY ARCHIVE
    In URL box: category/Newsletter/*

When using these settings, my widget disappears completely.

Most recent attempt (widget appears on category archive, but not individual posts):
    SHOW EVERYWHERE
    Checkmark: ALL POSTS
    Target by URL: category/Newsletter/*

    Please help, thanks!

Currently, the only way to show a widget on posts that belong to a certain category is to have the category in the post permalink, for example, /%category%/%postname%/ and have “Show on selected” with the following “Target by URL” setting:

    newsletter/*

Kaspars, thanks so much for the prompt response.

Currently, my permalink is set to POST NAME.

What effect would changing to CUSTOM STRUCTURE, as you suggest, have on my currently named pages? Anything? Or do already named pages and posts remain intact? I’d like to know before I attempt this and possibly affect my entire site.

So currently, my CUSTOM STRUCTURE default is /%postname%/
So you’re saying change it to /%category%/%postname%/
    Is this correct?
