• I just added the widget to my website at mortgage-tutor.com, and when I tested the subscription I didn’t get any emails. I tried a couple of email addresses and when I click “Subscribe”, after a few seconds the fields clear out with JS enabled but nothing else happens. If I disable JS, the page refreshes but otherwise nothing. I checked for Javascript errors but I didn’t see anything.

  • Hey there jimblesm,

It sounds like the issue you’re having is similar to one that I’ve worked on in some other threads, i.e. https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/subscribe-button-not-working-3?replies=8

Ultimately it seems to be another plugin or script running on the page which causes the interference, and as of yet I haven’t been able to pinpoint it.

The best recommendation when the form submission is not displaying the response messages as expected regardless of JS enabled or disabled would be to use an alternate MailChimp form like the embed form.

Guide on how to grab your MailChimp embed form: https://kb.mailchimp.com/lists/signup-forms/add-a-signup-form-to-your-website

Let me know if there’s anything else I can assist with!

Mailchimp only sends subscription confirmation email for gmail address.

    Hi,

I have this problem, that I only get subscription e-mail when signing up with gmail address.

When I sign up with for example: [email protected] or other Polish providers, nothing happens.

    Can You help?

I put mailchimp into popupally widget here:

    Hi there IKP,

I believe you may be using a different plugin than the one I’m able to help out with here in this support forum. It looks like you may be using a custom form or alternate plugin rather than the MailChimp List Subscribe Form plugin we troubleshoot in this forum.

Just to provide some insight though, when testing the form I did notice that the from address on the opt-in confirmation email is a @ikpszkolenia.pl address, which is likely the cause of the issues delivering to other @ikpszkolenia.pl email addresses. If an email is sent from MailChimp with the From address “[email protected]” to the subscriber or tester email address “[email protected]”, that receiving server will see that and it will think essentially “wait I didn’t send this, but it says I did, so it must be spam.”

If you have any additional questions about how to address issues of that sort, you would need to reach out directly to MailChimp technical support here: https://mailchimp.com/contact/support/

Please feel free to reach back out here if you have any questions about the specific WP plugin of this forum and we’ll be happy to help.
